Another event at the Centre For Computing History
in Cambridge that was extra special because not only did organiser Tony Jewell manage to pull in an example of every known
version of the humble Dragon32 but guest of honour was Dragon Data ROM specialist and all-round nice bloke Duncan Smeed who
brought some excellent historical artifacts and stayed around all day to chat, answer questions and generally sign things.
Given that he'd been around Dragon Data as a consultant since pretty much day 1 he brought us:
Pippin, the very first Dragon
Alpha, a prototype Alpha board to supplemented the completed-ish Alphas also present
Liberator, the prototype of the UK's first laptop which unfortunately didn't sell for reasons
Also present was Rich Harding with his painstakingly rebuilt (and the only one that we know of)
Dragon Beta prototype.
