Tandata TD4000
To all intents and purposes the TD4000 looks like the PA but isn't in the slightest. In the words of Boc:
The TD4000 was a stop-gap machine hurriedly put into production when the first PA's were late.
It was the PA case with a TD1400/1600 innards - ie full quality keyboard for professional use.
Since it's 'just' a TD1400 I maybe shouldn't be interested, but because of the way it came about I'm hoping I can get my paws on one someday. Many thanks to Reuben in New Zealand for giving me permission to use his TD4000 auction pics here. How a TD4000 ended up in New Zealand is anyone's guess.
