Built ZX81 Kit
THIS is more like it - an original kit from 1981 that's been built and kept in just-built condition. Unlike the ZX81 kits from the US this one is an early British example, hence the cardboard box, and came complete with the assembly instructions, erratum and even the sticker backing from the back of the keyboard. Also in those days you even had to make the PSU and cassette leads yourself! Marvellous. One thing I haven't done with this one yet is dismantle it to check the workmanship, 'cos that requires removing the 2 wee rubber feet at the front and they're buggers for not sticking back again......
Oh, sorry for not hoovering the rug before I took the pictures :)
